This year Round Table of the Committee on Spatial Planning and Development in the Baltic Sea Region VASAB will focus on geographically-oriented approach to the formation of partnership between urban and rural areas, based on the principles of sustainable development. Round Table will be a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in formation of successful urban-rural partnerships in the Baltic Sea region, and it will also present the practice of modern technologies application, aimed at resource conservation and eco-innovations, increasing rural-urban mobility, promote of rural agricultural and eco-tourism.
