Summary

International activities of regions include cooperation of subjects of Russian Federation with foreign states or their territorial units in trade, economic, scientific, technical, environmental, humanitarian, cultural and other fields. In modern political situation, when political barriers established to trade, regions can develop economic cooperation with foreign countries through scientific, humanitarian, cultural and other spheres, organize events for entrepreneurs, and establish twin-city relations between the cities. Managing such a broad set of tools requires training a high-quality strategy of international activities of region. Proper use of instruments of international cooperation allows some regions to achieve significant progress in economic development. At the round table with attendance of all branches of government are presented questions of building an effective system of international activities in the region, which provides the most out of opportunities from international cooperation.
