Long-term Forecast as a Document of Strategic Planning: New Quality of Forecasting

Summary

According to the 172-FL there should be developed a forecast on the period of the strategy. What should be the forecast and how to develop and update it? It seems that a reliable forecast is possible with the relevant dynamic information support and information-analytical system that ensures the functioning of the information base and integrated forecasting and analytical tools. It allows solving problems at sectoral, temporal and territorial context. There will be presented a regional experience in the application of information-analytical systems for providing long-term forecasting and strategic planning.
