Programs of Cross-border Cooperation Russia – EU: Results, New Projects and Ideas

Summary
For most regions of the Northwest Federal District of Russia border cooperation program - the EU became an objective reality, and the financial instrument for the implementation of regional initiatives. The year 2015 will feature the main results of the 2007-2013 program period and the development of the future period programs of 2014-2020 programme.
The main actors of the CBC programs talked about the unique experience of EU-Russia cooperation in the field of cross-border cooperation, as well as strategic opportunities such initiatives at the other borders of the Russian Federation. Certificates of acknowledgement by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Government of Saint Petersburg were presented during the session:
