     Dear Friends!

          I am glad to welcome the participants and guests of the XIV All-Russian Forum «Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia» in Saint Petersburg! 

         Every year strategic planning is receiving more attention in our country. This year an appropriate regulatory framework shall be established taking into account the new requirements of the Federal Law "On the strategic planning in the Russian Federation". Today, when municipalities in many regions of Russia continue creative search for the most effective legislative decisions, sharing of experience meetings and broad productive discussions become even more actual and useful. 

         The Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia" became a good platform to discuss the topical issues. It is not by the chance that such large national event is held in our city. Administration of St. Petersburg has developed and adopted the Strategy of economic and social development of St. Petersburg until 2030 and we have begun to implement it. We are ready to share our experience with the colleagues and learn new ideas from them.

       I am sure that the Forum-2015 will have a creative atmosphere and will be held at the highest level, as always. I suppose that the decisions of the Forum will improve the competitiveness of the domestic economy and growth of welfare and quality of life in Russian Federation.
